Hey dude, this is Matt. Yeah, THAT Matt...TETSU 親切!

Hey dude, this is Matt. Yeah, THAT Matt who stopped reading blogs. Out of nowhere today I just got the urge to drop in and see what you had written recently. This is great stuff. I just got back from a one month trip to South Korea and man, can I relate to your experiences. I've traveled a lot in the last decade, but I've never planted myself in one place for a full month, experiencing the language and culture and food and people day after day until they became a part of me. I feel like Seoul is my new second home. I just wish I had learned some Korean before I got there, but hey, no regrets, I learned more than enough once I got there (plus many Koreans speak some Japanese, so that helped).

Anyway, keep up your writing or I will mount a mighty steed and hunt you down, and when I corner you my stallion will kick you right in the solar plexus.

Take care!
