Introduction

Hi everybody! Today is Feb. 11, 2010. My birthday in this new decade. Also the year of the tiger, my year in the Chinese horoscope. Something's in the air. I can feel it. This is my year.

When I started my first blog, back in 2006, I also felt something in the air. And in fact, many great things did happen to me that year. Read more...

So I start this new blog on "Languages" with tremendous enthusiasm, as languages have not only fascinated me my whole life, but have broadened my horizons in ways no other acquired skills could. Note however, that my purpose will not be to give you lessons on any specific language or to let you in on the latest secrets on how to learn a new language in 5 minutes flat. There are ample other blogs/websites for that. Here, I would like to share my language-related experiences, philosophies, and advice. Of course, I hope students can draw some benefits from my various language learning tips and methods, but it goes beyond that. This blog will be far from being restricted to "learning" languages, but will also be about how to "apply" languages in highly practical ways, from making amazing friends around the world to landing and succeeding in your dream job. Furthermore, I wish to accomplish one more important objective with this blog, and that is, by describing how my parents raised me to become a multilingual, I hope to provide precious hints to all the loving parents out there on how to raise their own children to become world citizens of the future.

Anytime you have any comments, questions, or requests, please do not hesitate to let me know. You can of course write comments in every post, but you can also find a gadget (Cbox) for general comments in the side bar, or you can simply email me (asktetsu@gmail.com). Also, to keep up with new posts on this blog in real-time, you can use the "Email alert" at the top, or use other popular tools, including RSS and Google Friend Connect.

And hopefully, in my last post of this year, I will be writing about the success of this blog as one of my highlights of 2010! Please enjoy the ride with me.

  3. Super ton blog Tetsu!

J'ai plein d'idées à partager, partant de mon expérience, concernant l'apprentissage d'une langue étrangère.

    Petits trucs très efficace:

    Comportements favorables:
